About Nyth

Who is Nyth actually for?

Women with sudden bladder leaks — the kind that arrive from a laugh, a cough or a sneeze, often around perimenopause and menopause. It's for the woman who's tried pads or period underwear and found they weren't built for a leak that comes fast and all at once. Nyth is everyday underwear made for exactly that moment.

Will Nyth fix my symptoms?

No, and we'll never pretend otherwise. Nothing you wear can fix your bladder. Keep doing your exercises, keep pushing your doctor, keep taking your treatment. But none of that works overnight, and you shouldn't have to put your life on hold while you wait. That's what Nyth is for: getting on with things in the meantime.

Why should I trust a brand I've never heard of?

Fair question, and we'd rather earn it than claim it. Every order comes with a 60-day guarantee: if it doesn't do what we said, you tell us and we refund you in full. We'd also rather tell you what the brief can't do than oversell it. You'll notice we do that on every page.

The bladder leak brief

Aren't these just period underwear with a different label?

No, and this is the whole point. Period underwear is built around blood: thick, slow, arriving over hours. A bladder leak is thin and arrives all at once. Pour that onto a slow-absorbing core and it runs off the sides before anything takes it in — which is exactly why so many women find period underwear lets them down. Ours are built for speed, and the padding runs the full way up, front and back, instead of stopping at the gusset.

Won't they smell?

We know this is the one you can't check for yourself, which is why we take it most seriously. The fabric has odour control built in, and the waterproof barrier stops anything reaching the outside. Wash them properly — cool wash, no fabric softener — and there's nothing to notice. If they do smell, that's covered by the guarantee.

Will they show under my clothes?

No. The edges are bonded rather than stitched with elastic, so there's no line under your clothes. The waistband is wide and flat so it lies against the skin without digging in or rolling down. And the fabric is matte, so there's no sound when you move.

Are they thick? I don't want to feel like I'm in a diaper.

Only the absorbent area has extra layers, and it's thin enough that most women forget it's there within a day or two. The rest is the same as ordinary underwear. They should feel like underwear, not like protection.

Which style should I pick?

Classic sits just below the navel and works for most people. High waist sits above it, which many women prefer if their shape has changed and they want a smoother line under their clothes.

How many pairs do I actually need?

More than you'd think, and here's why: they take a good 48 hours to dry. Three means washing almost every day. Seven means one for every day of the week, one wash on a Sunday, and you never think about it again. That's why the seven-pack works out cheapest per pair and why most women choose it.

Sizing and care

How do I choose my size?

Use the size chart on the product page and go by the measurements, not the size you usually buy — sizes vary hugely between brands. Measure your waist at the narrowest point and your hips at the fullest. Between two? Go up. Something that digs in will never feel right, and the wrong size is the most common reason these things leak.

How do I wash them?

Cool wash, hang to dry. No fabric softener and no tumble drying — both coat the fibres and reduce how well the fabric moves moisture. Cared for that way, they keep working wash after wash.

Can I hand wash?

Yes. Rinse in cold water first, wash gently, then hang to dry.

Ordering and delivery

Will anyone know what's in the package?

No. Every order goes out in plain outer packaging with nothing on it that says what's inside. Your bank statement will only ever show our brand name, never the product.

How quickly will it arrive?

Free delivery on every order, fully tracked, usually 6 to 12 working days. You'll get tracking by email as soon as your order is on its way.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Then you get your money back. Try it for 60 days. If it lets you down, tell us and we'll refund you in full. The only thing you're risking is finding out it works.
